There are loads of places, depends on budget and what you like ? City , country, how far will you travel ?

Bath, York and Edinburgh are three of my faves, log cabin with a hot tub is another.

Bristol ? God no ! Try brighton . . Or battle if you want quaint. Crowhurst park is nearby. Log cabin style rooms in a rural setting. Hot tub on the veranda. Very peaceful

Edinburgh is brilliant and flight wasn't too expensive . Log cabins - I just looked and Polperro in Cornwall are closest to you I guess. I go to the Forest of Dean near Symonds Yat. It's stunning.

Cheaper alternative - go on a Fab road trip.

Lovely. I particularly enjoyed Guernsey but Jersey has some amazing restaurants and is possibly more suited at this time of year. Some great shopping too - proper duty free at the airport too.

Last Christmas, we had a night in Durham and a couple of nights in Edinburgh. Had a great time in 2 beautiful cities (and the drive between the two is very pretty too)

Amsterdam is great. I went last year. Tried most of the "coffee" shops lol.

Quite expensive when you are there but very cheap to get there.
