Always liked this bloke, so I hope the allegations against him are unfounded.

If they are true and he's just another sexual predator, I hope they throw the book at him

The worlds gone mad, even bill cosby's at it, you couldn't get a more wholesome character, I think you're right about the statute of limitations, all they can do is sue him. About a dozen women have come forward, no smoke without fire and all that

Very true, I've read that a lot of the stories are very similar tho, ie a few have said they were drugged and sexually abused etc, also some have said they were taken to places where there would be possible witnesses, the playboy mansion was one I heard. I'd like to believe he's innocent but I reckon at least some of the allegations will be true but that's only my opinion.

The statute of limitations does apply for most, but there is one woman who claims offences took place when she was 15, so that case wouldn't apply, and can be investigated.

There are about 50 women who say Mr Cosby, 78, forced them into unwanted sexual contact with him.

Most of the alleged crimes committed by Mr Cosby go back decades and are considered too old to be criminally prosecuted.

But in one case, filed in 2014, Mr Cosby was charged with sexual assault from an incident in 2005.

The comedian denies all the allegations.

Crosby is attending a preliminary hearing, where it's up to the prosecution to prove there is a preponderance of evidence that Cosby did indeed commit the crime.

At the end of the hearing, a judge will decide whether there is enough evidence to proceed with a criminal trial.

If convicted, Cosby could face up to 10 years in prison

None of the allegations featured can be tried as they are outside the limits.

As others on this programme set out, Cosby was loved and lauded by all and I certainly felt he/his persona was a role model.

Can't believe it, I used to love watching the Cosby show, do people think he actually done these things? His legal team is hoping To bring the credibility of his accusers and the time they let pass before their complaints in to question, should that be acceptable?

No sarcasm at all , there is major differences and if you look into the case you'll se something is fishy, are you telling me that Cosby drugged and abused 50 women and none spoke out till now why? We're talking about the same country and people who has abused blacks forever, do tell me they were scared, it's not like jimmy saville and the kids, the country and BBC saved jimmy and Rolf Harris for years they were national treasures. I personally think those girls have been put up to it and also voluntarily took drugs. The number of people comin forward means nothing people lie on stars all the time.
