best excuses?

We have all had people cry off from meets, some genuine, some not, some just hilarious and timewasters. When I I met as a couple with FB we had nemerous where cpls were single men really, and wives always got called away at the last minute for work or sick relative or pet. Now they even send pics they get off other sites not thinking we can check.

So what are your best excuses, winner gets a meet with me and runner up gets two lol

MAMOBA, miles and miles of bugger all (Aberdeenshire)

I had someone who didn't turn up for a meet because he said I wouldn't because I was too good to be true for a single female!

Iv just remembered I'm waiting for a phone call I need to be there to take I said can't the phone your mobile and got a reply they are doing but I keep my phone off when I'm out as the battery goes flat

We had a half way excuse at a meet.. Arranged outdoor meet with us.. Lots of planning the scenario which was filthy .....man met us mid play.... Promised the world... Played for five.... He performed his business then ran off.... Half of us hope he wasn't embarrassed and also worry we weren't good enough... Strange

I had to let a meet down with an hour to go, was gutted but my baby sitter had come down with a sickness bug so had no choice but we did end up having a rather good chat on the phone later

I arrive out our meeting place to receive a text saying he was stuck in traffic. Fair enough, I thought, I'll wait. He never showed.

More than 24 hours later I received an email apologising.

"I'm sorry, but I pulled over for fuel and left my phone on top of the car, driving off without it...."

Oh dear ......

Had arranged with three guys to come and have a mmmmf with mandy.

One said he fell asleep (so someone else must have been on his whatsapp all night!) and one said he was in bomb disposal and was called out to an incident.

But the one guy that did turn up had a great time!!
