I had a good look around Ann Summers yesterday looking for a Christmas gift, but came away empty handed and disappointed, think I will now have to look online, looking for recommendations and suggestions.

I suggest not buying lingerie. Its a well known fact guys are pretty crap at buying it and will almost always get wrong size/colour/style

Figleaves have some lovely lingerie - have a sneaky peak in your lady's drawer and get the size off something she has already (something you know fits)

I have always been very successful at buying lingerie for wifey.. I know what her colours are what styles she should wear and i know what size she is.....Not all men are crap atvit you know..You just have to do your homework.

Boux Avenue do some lovely sets. If she likes retro style lingerie then What Katie Did and Autograph for Marks & Spencer have some gorgeous stuff.

Not all men are crap al buying lingerie, i know the things my lady likes. As for a hammer drill, well I have so many of my own and she knows she would be better asking me to put up that shelf lol

Shame LaSenza were a victim of the recession.

Boux avenue, autograph range in M&S and Debenhams are the best i find on the high st.

It is that time of the year again, watch the uncomfortable young guy in the lingerie section of a department store.

Do your home work first, also go to some of the better department stores, the staff will be more helpful.

Hello all,

I can recommend Sulis, they design and make all their own lingerie, luxury silk at a very reasonable price. They also do everyday wear in silk jersey. Simple and soft and very sexy even if it is plain.
