Bringing down the ratio

Has anyone got any thoughts on how to bring down the single male to female ratio so there is a closer amount of single women to single men, I think this site would be untouchable if this were the case, I would sugest.

Single men pay £10 for site supporter status, single women (once verified) get it for free, couples stay the same, once a single guy has used up his site supporter status he can use the site as we use it now, fake pics, fake profiles and fake marital status, gets you banned from the site with no refunds, no exceptions, ladies get discounts at local swingers clubs.

Any thoughts/ideas?

They do the men pay,women don't in clubs. Paying doesn't guarantee you will have more chance of having sex. There are plenty of single men on here who are having sex with women on here. Men blame the numbers when it's more a case of not being what people want

No my point is, to cut down on the morons and bring more quality into the squad (football manager speak lol) I think there would be less of the guys that come on here to waste people's time and more genuine guys

Singles get a raw deal paying extra in clubs would not be good making them pay more on here.

Don't think anything will make a dramatic change in ratio to be honest.

I think you'd be better off looking at ways to increase the number of women than to decrease the number of men. But that will be far harder than offering discounts.

The ratio wouldn't alter as the number of single "ladies" men getting off on pretending would just go through the roof and the cpls that are really a single would increase too

Stay as it is just got to hang aroind a bit and let the fakes drop off or become clear to see you get noticed soon enough to the local cpls or ladies that are looking for what you are just keep networking and it will pay off as like in lfe there is someone for everyone eventually and once your known the ratio dont matter as you will br a semi reg playmate or a one time thing regardless if the numbers

It's more a question of if they WILL pay 10 quid, as things are any fool with an Internet connection can get on here and piss single women off. I don't say I've got all the answers, like I said if anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear them.

I'm not sure why you say couples won't be concerned with this thread, we meet single men. The only thing that can be done is to establish your own selection process, it takes a little time to do that and isn't fool proof...mistakes are made and you can sometimes misjudge either way.

As a selfish bitch with the 'gift' of a vagina - may I say that I love the huge choice of sexy guys on here - even though about 50% of them seem to be time wasters! xx Some single guys on here are in huge demand - and not always the most attractive ones. As a single guy you have to have a U.S.P. to be successful, whether thats a great body/great cock/fantastic personality/ability to host parties etc - or just the confidence to get to the clubs and socials!

As single women we were born with our U.S.P - a vigina - which unfortunately means that many women think that they can demand lots and give little in return.

There's a stigma to swinging for single fems in society - we're often perceived as slags whereas a single male swinging is simply 'between relationships'. That stigma would put many women off joining a site like fab - that and many haven't even heard of it! I knew nothing about swinging/swingers clubs until a friend recommended it to me in February - I've never looked back!! Xxx

There is only one way that I can see, face to face interview and a contract that's enforceable by law. This is the internet, there will be dreamers, chancers and sometimes dangerous people no amount of verification, payment up front etc will stop that....interviews and contracts wouldn't either, its an impossible task.

I tend not to read verifications posted. I prefer to make my own mind up about who I see. My judgement is my own. And lets face it, 99.999% of verifications are going to sound positive. If I wanted casual sex there are better ways of getting it than emailing loads of people on here. Better filters would make it easier to cut down on the bulk of unwanted emails. Just reviewing updates to the news feed shows daily comments asking people to read the profiles first before banging out emails by the truck full. Even a filter restricting contact by people who are within a certain mileage from you if you want to activate it. Give people the option to set more. Also make photo verification standard within a week of joining. I understand people who want to be discrete but a private photo is just that. Would help cut down the fakes etc. All imho of course x

I don't blame anything....I get plenty meets. My only real restriction is my own time and the fact that I spend most weekends with a very good friend in her caravan.

Here is a suggestion: The ratio is what the ratio is....live with it or leave. Stop blaming others for your lack of success...the rest of us who do have plenty meets face the same ratio! My suggestion is leave things well alone....if it ain't broke then don't fix it. If you don't like it then you know where the exit is!

Before coming on to Fab, I was on a pay only site. Exactly the same issues. Lots more guys than women and, from what most women told me, most guys approached with the "fancy a fuck" type messages. Lots of time wasters too. So no different! That said, the number of people on Fab is far greater so, by definition, this has to be better. Matt

You don't blame anything but plenty of others do. They think they don't get noticed because they get lost in lots of messages. They don't get noticed because they aren't making themselves noticeable. Some are just too young,some the wrong race,some too bi,there are threads by men bemoaning all these reasons. I'm going by what I see on the site and the bottom line is women will meet the men they find attractive regardless of how many are on here. Reducing the number of men won't make them more attractive,not to me anyway and I'm easier to please than some of the women with lists of wants and don't wants
