That's so sad. The poor woman must have been going through a bad time mentally to leave the hospital with her newborn. I had post natal depression with my first child and it was an awful experience which I wouldn't wish on anyone x

Such very sad news, the poor woman must have been in an awful state of mind. Thoughts go out to their families

Tragic. Serious questions to be asked about why she was in that state of mind, why was it not recognised and how the hell she and a baby were able to walk out of the ward/hospital unchallenged.

Truly a sadness to think she had no one to turn to.

So sad. Was hoping this would be a news story that would end positivly and she was just hiding out for a bit.

Rest in peace together. X

In this awful world we live in, most news stories just pass us by.

But when I heard this on my way to work this morning, I cried.

Bless them both

Put yourself in her shoes for just one second, its hard to try and even begin to imagine what she had going through her head.

Truly tragic, both so young. Really frustrating.

This is so sad, saw they were missing on the news last night. I dont see daytime news because of work and never heard anything on the radio, but I said to my oh last night, how would they survive in this cold weather, sadly it has come true. Poor girl and her family, my thoughts are with them

It really is very sad. I dare say that the nursing staff in the hospital she walked out of will be devastated as well.
