odd question i know

I know i should know this and deep down i think i do I just need to ask

right

i got a message just from a guy who started by say hi and using my real first name, so I replied back asking if I knew him, he replied saying no but he mailed me because he would like to, so I asked how he knew my name and he said because some people bother to read profiles

now my name is not on my profile, unless you lot can see something I can't so I mailed him saying this he just replied sorry I didn't mean to piss you off

so question is how the fook did he know my name, can people get into your privacy settings or do you think it's someone i know playing silly buggers?

I think he must have been talking to someone about you, if he genuinely doesn't know you.

Maybe he has been chatting to people that know you ......... or seen a post here where a person put your name on ... Just ask him for the truth ... and if he is ok he may just tell you . xx

it's creepy and men do it to disarm and put you in a vulnerable position. If it's entirely innocent he only needs tell you how he knows to put your mind at rest, he hasn't and hopes that you will be placed in a position of having to ask him very nicely to tell you.

There is no mention of your name on your profile so I can only assume that he either knows you or that he has contacted your friends/verifications. I can understand it making you uncomfortable. You are not new here and am sure that you will have already blocked him. That should be the end of it.

A couple of times men have implied they know us, they don't. Recently the trend is to say they know us from another site, they don't. It's a line to get us into conversation, they don't.

I'd tell him he's not pissed you off, just come across as a creepy stalker. Tell him he has one chance to set the record straight and block him and forget about him if he doesn't come up with a really good explanation.

I can't understand why any bloke would think coming across as a creepy stalker is a good introduction but men do weird things when all their blood is in their cocks.

People talk and We have heard people's ' real names' mentioned in the past... But we wouldnt use that unless we are told etc ... So maybe he just heard your name in conversation?
