Morning Fabbers was just wondering if anyone in vanillaville would rather have good food without alcohol for the rest of their lives or Plenty of Booze and naff nosh till they keel over?

I do have random thoughts like this all the time..

I love a drink but I think most of us would get fed up of drinking alcohol constantly so I'd pick good food over booze any day!

Booze all day long for me. If I drink enough I forget to eat anyway, and food losses it's flavour after a couple of pints of Guinness.

Cheshunt

I'm an awkward sod with food, preferring a fair bit of reasonably plain fare. But most folk have their own choice of poison.

I like my booze, but in a swinging evening I wouldn't dream of drinking beyond drive-able sobriety. It's simply more fun that way

So I would recommend a choice of nibbles with a BYOB policy and a fair bit of soft drinks in the background.

Gainesville is real life to me. Well the mundane 9 to 5 work life balance tightrope. I agree I enjoy a drink but prefer decent food with a nice bottle of wine

Nice that so many foodies are on here. I hate a lass who pushed her food around the plate... pointless taking her out for a meal...

"Well that's all of you crossed off my Christmas party list. "

Wouldn't that mean more booze for you? You should always take a bottle of something alcoholic for the hosts, even if you don't drink.
