Why do people have a profile with no photograph, what are they hiding. If you are concerned about being recognised, there are ways of taking photographs to not show the face.

Personal choice?

How pictureless profiles hope to get interest is beyond me - but it's still their choice.

Just message those you can see and pass by those you can't - there's plenty that do show themselves.
