Fuck buddy definition

Hi

Hope you're all well. I just wanted to see what your thoughts are on the definition of a FB.

To me, an fb is someone who you play with now and again. There are no ties or commitments to each other, though as you go on you might consider them more but it's not expected to be that way. Both people are free to engage in activities with other people, who again see it just as fun.

Is this an accurate description or are their other views.

Purely just wondering what others views are on a FB and how it works

I'd say that buddies are people you meet up with for sex now and again.

Mr and I are friends with benefits, we chat a few times a day and see each other regularly. We both also play alone as well as together

Agreed that's my definition to however it gets clouded with the friends with benefits too. To me that's where there is some ties to the person you hang out do stuff as friends you both agree on the play etc.

I have never considered anyone a fuck buddie, if it's a one off or a repeat meet its still just someone I'm meeting for sex, I would never consider someone a fuck buddie no matter how many times we met

I've only had FWBs and the benefits usually stop after a few months as I'm a bit of a softie and do get attached. That said, I'm emotionally intelligent enough to stop things when I feel I'm too involved, and can very easily switch back to friends without the benefits (and have done so on a number of occasions)

but who meets for sex and does not chat?

Of course in clubs in a group situation this can happen but if you meet one on one on here your going to chat aren't you

I think theres a difference theres been men ive fucked... men ive really liked and fucked and men i despised and fucked lol.... the ones i like tend to.be regular reocurrent 3-4 times a week not always sexual encounters .

i dont believe things are ever just sex or no sex. there can be an inbetween especially when you arent ready forvrelationships, dont have any plans of sticking it out with a person. Who defines a relationship of any kind but those in them

if fuck buddies choose to no be in a relationship but only sleep with one and ither and have social fun are they any different to when a swinging couple say theyre married in love and fuck other people

That's what I would class as a fuck buddy. Someone I literally only see for sex.

If I enjoy socialising with someone too, and chat to them and spend time with them (not exclusively though) then that's FWB.

Once exclusivity arrives that's what I would class as 'traditional' dating
