C'est fini pour Fin.

R.I.P.

Our goldfish Fin passed away in the night.

We had him 10 months.

An amiable chap he was.

There will be a viewing tonight and a wee wake.

Burial tomorrow.

Aw sorry to hear that. We have fish die regularly (well, now and then - I'm not an evil fish killer, honest!) in our tropical tank. The first few were quite upsetting but now we just pop down the fish shop and replenish as the numbers drop.

But I feel your grief

It's our first loss.

I wouldn't mind but my son has taken it chillingly well.

I am actually a tad sad.

I had thought of making a comment along the lines of poor Fin having had his chips, but thought better of it.

Maybe his soul is in a better plaice, and he will be with his cod who is a dab hand at dealing with this.

For the evening viewing it may be wise to place a little something over his little eye , and mist him regularly with a fine spray to keep his vibrant lustre.

His contribution to swimming whilst pooing and memory loss should not be understated.

Brighton - even Hove!

I'm sure the little fish

Is now finished

At least you know

(with little sorrow)

but a frown

That he didn't drown
