A few years back, on a US roadtrip. I went into a New Jersey motel and asked the desk clerk the cost of a one night stay in a double room.

He gave me a funny look and pointed to a pricelist on the wall..

24hrs was a reasonable $45.

There were prices too for 6hrs, 2hrs, 1hr, 30mins...

But for me...top value was to be had at $7.50 for 10mins

Some people would struggle to need that long. I still feel it's a bit steep a price, compared to overnight.

Would love short stay rooms to be more standard here. Would help driving rest as well as shags.

It entirely depends on what the superhero is doing but if its having sex with me ten minutes wouldn't be enough time for me to finish my glass of wine and slowly remove my outer garments. If the superhero was saving the world from this hotel room I hop ten minutes would be more than adequate
