Hi. Completely non sex related I'm afraid!

Can anyone recommend some software I can use to get the music off my iPod back onto my PC after my hard drive cooked itself?

Preferably free!

You don't need anything other than iTunes. ..plenty advice on forums on how to do it

Only works one way as far as I know, you can't take music from the iPod onto the pc hard drive.

May be wrong but I'm sure I've transferred my purchases back onto iTunes account on PC. The only thing I believe I lost were cd that I'd copied on and hadn't purchased by iTunes. ..Google it and loads of advice

iTunes transfers from the device (pad or phone) to your PC, every time you back up or sync, surely...???

Wouldn't it be simpler to restore the back-up of your hard drive?

Should have said but it's 99% music put on from CD so can't recover from the store.

The music is saved to your computer hard drive so if I tried to sync now it would wipe all the music off my iPod since the hard drive failed and had to be replaced, no backup available.

Look on the right side then, enjoy the music again as you re-rip from your CD's.

i dump classic

ipod magic works both ways ipod to pc and pc to ipod and other ipods/ipads
