Hello all, I need some opinions/advice on what is the best out of the two.

My sister in law wants to buy my brother an ipad/tablet for Christmas and wants one that has good battery life and plenty of memory on there, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I love my iPad but it only stands above the rest because I have an iPhone and an Apple TV box so they all work together. If I didn't have the other things I would go for a cheaper option for sure

Google nexus 7 is a cheaper option and they work very well.

Quite like Samsung (and Nokia, they seem similar), but i noticed the Samsung tablet is fairly slow loading but not sure if all tablets are like this?

You can't beat an iPad, in my opinion android is second rate but saying that the Kindle Fire is good even the £80 one cheap as chips.
