best tv. recommendations please

Looking to get a new TV. So sick of our old one so dark movies are almost unwatchable.

All settings on TV are how they should be, but it's an early model led about ten years old now.

Really don't want anything fancy no smart tv just something with a cracking pic and reliable.

Wait for the sales. The less fancy, not the new top of the range models will be reduced and you'll get a better deal than buying now.

Look at AO too.
