Using the wrong profile.

For those of you who operate more than one profile, do you ever find yourselves posting on the forums using the wrong one?

I have a couples on with my Husband and also this one for just me. I generally use this one to chat on the forums but now and again forget which one I'm in and post on the other one.

I dont get confused cos i dont have two profiles - i was gonna ask the same thing, why two profiles. My guy doesnt like posting on forums, im a forum junkie, i just use our couples profile to go on the forums.

I tend not to post with the couples profile as i dont deem it necessary, unless its a social thread.

I never intend to, it's just automatic for me to flick to the forums after dealing with a message or whatever. I post and then the wrong avatar greets me

what I don;t get is a single person having 2 profiles...couples who also meet on their own I get...but a single person with 2 profiles baffles me, especially when they pretty much say the same thing....

well we dont meet on our own but most know us as our individual names.....when we are both posting it would be a nightmare if we used one profile

oh I totally agree and get that...and after enough time on the forums I think I have started to remember who is with who...lol...and do sometimes get confused when bot partners use same profile to post...lol just got a bit confused when I saw someone with a different name and thought oh they must have a new profile but found the old one...and they are active on both...lol...

I used to have a single profile, purely for posting in the forums. I created it because I wanted you all to realise that the posts were "my" thoughts and ramblings.

After a rethink I closed it and decided that if I just changed our avatar I'd get the same point across.

Hope I have anyway

How very observant. I do have 3 profiles. The 3rd one is out of use for the moment though.

you are allowed to have a couple profile and two single profiles, but only should have the single profiles if you also continue to play as a single, if you only play as a couple shud delete the single profiles

I agree in part but there are people who have single profiles solely to chat in the forums and they state as much in the text of their profiles. I think that's absolutely fine as they're not misleading anybody.
