What will you miss about summer? What are your childhood summer memories?

Mine to name few...

Long summer hols they lasted forever. Playing out on bikes with your mates .. Taking a full bottle of water because you knew you would be out until tea time...on adventures And the sun shone all day so much so the tar in the road bubbled.

I miss nothing about the summer just gone.

Sitting on my front lawn in a white cotton dress with red polka dots, playing with my dolls and a china tea set,is one of my best childhood summer memories

Menston near Ilkley

Long days playing in Esholt woods with my cousin and his dog. Eating jam sandwiches and tea from a flask that my Mum had made.

Oh my childhood summers....long summer holidays, playing by the river, going off on my bike, trips to the beach, visiting family, staying with my mamgu and going into town on the train. Happy days Luckily I only live a few miles from where I was born so I still visit the same places

Spending the day enacting a cricket test match on the local high school field with a big group of mates. It seemed like every day was hot and sunny
