No, not those BBCs! I think they are real and not sci-fi.

I'm just a little bit excited that Tomorrow's Worlds and The Thing From Another World are on tonight.

Sad bint alert.

They couldn't really say that migrants and keeping people in poverty would be a better option for keeping people in their place and cheaper for employers.

I am still annoyed that I can't jaunt like a Tomorrow Person or visit Moon Base Alpha.

B&W now is an art statement so if they did make them again then it would be viewed as arthouse.

There have been so many remakes lately its only a matter of time. Forbidden Planet was awesome so I hope they leave that alone.

The B&w theatrical acting is great...suspense with no need for graphic gore. ...mm I feel geeky

I have… seen things you people wouldn't believe… Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those… moments… will be lost in time, like [small cough] tears… in… rain. Time… to die…

Apparently Rutger Hauer ad libbed a lot of it.

Truth is he didn't. He altered a few lines from the original script. It originally went:

I have known adventures, seen places you people will never see,

I've been Offworld and back… frontiers!

I've stood on the back deck of a blinker bound for the Plutition Camps with sweat in my eyes watching the stars fight on the shoulder of Orion…

I've felt wind in my hair, riding test boats off the black galaxies and seen an attack fleet burn like a match and disappear.

I've seen it, felt it

There's a sequel in the pipeline. Ridley Scott is due to start filming once the second Prometheus movie is finished. The script is complete and apparently Harrison Ford has signed up.

The Thing and the rather indie Pitch Black with an early vin diesel ? And I know it's controversial but the rather under rated John Carter ?

Theres a story that when Blakes 7 was filming in one of their usual BBC Quarry locations they heard voices. It was the Dr Who crew filming an episode.
