Just heard this on Watchdog..

Cocoa is at a premium because of Ebola and other issues.

So bars will get smaller, or the price will be be unsustainable...

oh no..sounds like this could lead to big trouble..? there will be illegal 'chocolate distillerys' popping up all over the country now and criminal gangs fighting each other for the control of distribution..i can see bloodshed on our streets and our prison population going through the roof.the chocolate wars on our doorstep..the future looks grim me thinks..

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I've got it all. I future-proofed.

Joking aside, it is a serious issue as those crops keep people alive and economically active.

if i start hoarding chocolate now would it increase the chances of meeting women when the shortage becomes more protracted then?

you're right, there's no cocoa in white chocolate, just the cocoa butter that's extracted from it in the production process.

Central

Some fanatics will be stockpiling already.

The choc companies are already shrinking sizes and putting prices up, so any other excuse they can use, other than sheer greed, will be welcomed by them.

I'm a chocolate lover so would be seriously affected by this.
