Whisky, butjust gargle now you have already taken shit. Tramadol would have kicked it in the nuts. To be fair brufen won't so much.

Oil of cloves ?

Bloody tooth ache dentist first thing I reckon.

omg I'm going through the exact same thing now and taking the same painkillers. They're very good but have me feeling as high as a kite! Mine are from boots with strict three-day limit, as highly addictive

Should be ok as long as you stick to the dosage What I have found using soluble cocodamol in luke warm water don`t drink it down in one but sip it washing it over the tooth that is aching it seems to have a numbing affect . Try that you have nothing to lose. John X

I've got an impacted wisdom tooth but under NHS guidelines according to dentist I have to have this pain three times before they will refer for X-ray and removal. I've had it a long time visit tomorrow will be the third time but every time I go they say all this put a bit of mouth wash in it and charge me £20 odd quid for the pleasure. It sucks so painful

Central

Ibuprofen is anti inflammatory so should give the better physical relief. Combining paracetamol and codeine with ibuprofen is fine, as they all have different modes of action.

Medical etc advice on fab is often derided, but I'd avoid if you have problems with any of these - I assume you don't as you're asking.

A short term pain relief from a topical treatment like oragel, could be of use too, if you need something different and a pharmacy section is open at a shop near to you.

Hope you get some rest.

I had that too so can sympathize honey. Best relief I got other than your current painkillers was bongela teething gel, numbed around the gum etc so the pain wasn't just as throbbing. Amazing how much it really helped.

Hope you get sorted soon, there really is nothing worse and so hard to get rid off, take care

Anbesol liquid is far better than teething gels. Gels wash off before being effective.

Cocodomal is the only thing that works enough for me to sleep when I get toothache. A warm hot water bottle too. Avoid anything cold or hot.

Having used both I wouldn't say anbesol was anything like oil of cloves, it's eugenol that's like oil of cloves.

Anbesol is liquid lidocaine, I find the pain relief from in short lived but long enough to get me off to sleep in combination with brufen.

Tom, Would the clove oil not hurt your cock like billio?

And bringing any of it back here would be drug smuggling.

Besides, as far as I can tell, the tooth ache sufferer is not in Sri Lanka and, with tooth ache, is unlikely to want to fly there for pain killers!

Shall I be the killjoy and suggest that you seek proper and informed medical advice rather than relying on a swingers' site? You would not go to a hardware shop to seek advice about the best wine to drink with a mature cheese. Your health is important. We have an institution called the National Health Service which is allegedly free and is apparently staffed by medically qualified folk. Just a thought and sorry for being blunt.

Had two flare ups of this before having a lower wisdom tooth out under local last week. You have my sympathies, go back to the dentist and insist its taken out. Good luck, it gets a whole lot worse before it gets better.
