Well Rockstar have announced that the GTA5 port to the PC will have 1st person sex scenes, (like this http://youtu.be/DDCd_19ZRII ).

What do you lot think about sex in video games?

The only game I play is World of Warcraft, I would just like to use my imagination. Fantasising about some hot blood elf action is better than watching it.... Although fantasising about it, is cause for alarm

Had Sam Fox strip poker on the speccy 48k back in the 80's.

Rockstar have been putting sex in the GTA games for years now so nothing new really.

It sounds a bit sad and inappropriate as you know under age kids will want to get a copy. The reality is its not really needed and if the game makers think its necessary they need to think again.

And looking at the video, they're still not actually showing anything graphic. The scene in that clip would barely be PG.

It isn't graphic, and in a game that revolves around murder random violence and general crime anyone concerned by a few flesh-toned pixels probably has missed the point...

the game is 18+ for many reasons, this is minor.

The last GTA game i played had a lap dancing venue, naked or scantily clad women walking and dancing in a sexual way in there, i think the sex is minor compared to the violence in the GTA games and as someone else said they have an 18 cert anyway.

Do you think the same with films, tv and books.

Adult games aimed at an adult audience shouldn't have a problem showing sexual interaction.

The biggest problem is parents not taking enough interest in their child's actions or giving in to child's pressure to let them access to adult content just because it is labeled a game.

You wouldn't allow a six year old watch The Evil dead or porn. You wouldn't read fear and loathing in las Vegas to a ten year old. So why would you let them play Grand Theft Auto or Call of Duty.

I hate it when people/media blame the adequately age-rated games rather than poor supervision

I hate that too. Games have the same age ratings as films. The covers have larger age classification marks DVD covers it's not like you can miss them.

i agree

any game deemed unsuitable for children will have an adult certificate, it's upto the individual if they allow their children to play it

Parents dont give a shit tho. I was a specialist for virgin megastore and the amount of parents i advised about gta 4 when it came out and said its only a game love was shocking. Like ita said above, would u let ur 9 year old watch an 18 film unsupervisied? And now most of the games are played online with headsets. The vile abuse that's shouted out during these games is awful.

I'm a massive gamer, and play a lot, but I play 18 plus games when my son isn't about. Children dont need to be made to go out and kill people. They should be playing games like Mario, skylanders, etc no aggressive encouragement to kill
