And spent any time in a pub around 4pm you'll love it.

It was written by and stars Craig cash (and his best mate Phil somebody) out of the royal family.

Titz Towers, North Notts

In no particular order:

Early Doors - it very sharply observed and far superior to the Royle Family, which is the more famous of the two. The Grapes could be any Northern Pub in the early evening, with people who you recognise.

The Phil Silver's Show - it has frenetic pacing, a great supporting cast and Nat Hiken's scripting is superbly timed and the amount of stuff squeezed into 25 minutes would shame many a comedy that wastes time with long panning shots, instead of dialogue.

Nightingales - this was totally surreal, nay, hat stand even. Shakespearean dialogue delivered by Robert Lindsey, David Threfall and Ellis, with bonkers plots involving werewolves and hypnotherapists. Nobody here but us chickens!
