Bristol

Roast partridge surrounded by roasted parsnip and carrot batons, sitting on a base of game (rabbit, pheasant and partridge) and vegetables (diced onion and celery), smoked bacon, potatoes, squash and turnip, red wine and vegetable stock, lots of black pepper and Rosemary from the garden.

Served with Parmesan topped garlic mashed potatoes.

Check out the game section in Sainsbury's; I filled my freezer with repeat portions of the above, plus Quail, for less than £20 as it had all been reduced. Easy and quick to cook, and delicious.
