Have you ever seen some movies that you felt are so overrated? I know a good few.

Frozen - overrated with annoying songs kids won't stop bloody singing

Twilight - overrated softcore porn for teens

Hunger games - overrated and just completely pointless

James Bond films with Daniel Craig.

He's delicious to look at but I didn't enjoy that last one at all.

Totally agree with frozen. It wasn't good. Lion King's better.

Hunger Games is just Battle Royale for kids.

Twilight is just about a girl choosing between Necrophilia and Bestiality.

Most horrors that have been out in the last decade. Although The Conjuring was really good.

That's what people think makes a film scary. It's not.

Horrors need to grow some balls and really scare the viewer psychologically. Not just ramp up the music and basically shout "BOO!". It's cheap.

I bet most of them are teenagers. They'll find anything scary no matter how shit the movies are.

I think in today's generation, no one cares about movie plots anymore. Its not just in horror but in other genres too. For example, in action films, most people want to see fights, car chases and explosions.

Yeah I agree.

I think with the overuse of cgi, film makers just use that for the scares. Not a physical prop. If that makes sense.

I Just wish people would put some thought into a horror film. Not 'she turns a corner and you see the beast and it'll make the audience jump'

I can tell when it's coming because of the music. Or lack there of.

Yeah. Its sort of nearly the same with kids movies. Although there are some decent kids movies like Wreck It Ralph for example, there still some movies that kids see just to hear the same obnoxious songs over and over again.

Love wreck it Ralph. Being an old school gamer, I liked that they used characters from old games.

I'm just not so keen on songs.

Except 'Everything is awesome'.

But I don't have kids so it can't be ruined by seeing the film a million times

Fair point. Another example where people don't care about the plot is the new Godzilla movie. I thought that it was a great movie which was a great tribute to the original Godzilla movies.

I noticed that people are pissed off with this movie because Godzilla is not in it most of the time. I think those that are angry about this probably haven't seen the original Godzilla movies and thought the movie was gonna be more like Pacific Rim.
