Can be sexy or can be ridiculous! I have a friend I went to uni with who is making a very successful living on the steampunk scene - it's massive at the moment!

It is very sexy when done right. There was a steampunk group at a convention here in Eastbourne. They sold all sorts of costume stuff for it.
