Film and food type thing..

Do you guys have any good film recommendations?

Something not too heavy, funny and uplifting - but not tooschmaltzy or overly predictable...

Multiple times - wonderful film I agree - and I'm not ashamed to say that I wept..... Not just cried... Tears streamed down my cheeks!

The section when carrying his son through the camp in thick fog with the bodies piled high and the opera playing is just ... Well it's just beautiful

.

Ah brilliant, it's really hard to find in its original format of Italian with eng subtitles rather than the dubbed version. But it has to be the subtitled version as some of the comedy is just in Roberto benignis voice.

And if I remember correctly it was pipped for the Oscar by Shakespeare in love which is absolute crime as that's a shit film.

.Haha that's funny.

I think the original version goes in its Italian name Bella le vita or something like that.

One I'd recommend is Before Sunrise and the sequel Before Sunset...I think it's now a trilogy but I've not seen the latest instalment.

Really sweet film...makes you yearn for that moment when you first make a connection with someone special.

For complete schmaltz that pulls on heart strings, check out Where The Heart Is

Scarface sounds perfect.

So I'd recommend that.

SOUTH WEST & WALES

There's a French film called Untouchable which is about the relationship between a quadriplegic millionaire and his ex con carer. It's based on a true story, funny and heart warming. One of my faves.
