"When I was married I said husband. I guess it's what you want to call them, if that particular person doesn't mind . I can't see it's an issue. People refer to their "partner" as all sorts don't they ? I've often heard "her indoors or my other half. Just personal preference like anything really. " I don't mind preferences like "the other half" like you said but I just think saying "partner" in a relationship just sounds daft to be honest. | |||
