Back in my day...

Parents had to fold their pram to get onto the bus.

People carried suitcases

We didn't have hand sanitiser in the classroom, (seriously, we have them in college

)

The world is just as hard as it always has been...

However here in the West we are shielded from that truth resulting in us becoming softer and more vulnerable to the rest of the world.
