Hull

A lot of these words stem from the advance of Mobile Phones and the increasing use of Text messages. People shorten words down to fit them into a message, and they have become "everyday use" for some people.

Other words have been inherited from other cultures, countries and races. Of course, America is one of the biggest culprits and I encounter it al the time in my line of work when customers from the USA will ask for items or services in their own mother tongue. I just love to repeat back confirmation of their request but insert the British equivalent!

But surely, the worst word to enter our daily use over here is.....awesome.

I cringe every time I hear it!

I really dislike the following

Slut

Whore

Awesome

Babe

Hun

Dearie...which ive been refered to by certain men of certain cultures.

Ant text speech just shows a lack of decency to another human, if you cannot be bothered to take a little extra time to use a real word, then I would definately not reply.

"The c word

I think the C word is a great one, as long as not used to describe actual twattage ...it can be a real show stopper of a word, if C-bombed correctly. "

Cunt is a beautiful word, the origins go back over centuries.

Referring to the feminine, the use of the word is empowering and singularises the allure of the female genitalia; vagina, clitoris, vulva, cervix, labia do not do that.

Referring to the male ( I'm avoiding the term 'masculine'), it is derogatory and can be directed at any sort of twat that thinks that they are more deserving or important than their female conspirators; I will also add in politicians to this mix.
