Badminton is good because it allows you to have the same level of fitness as each other and build up as you progress

Agree with badminton - can toss the shuttlecock between you. Play doubles and mixed doubles, or just the two of you. Many permutations and great for fitness. Also bi-dminton if you all enjoy that shuttlecock.

Archery, skittles, ten pin bowling, green bowls, pretty much any sport really it depends what your looking for? Team play, one against the other or with friends. Or just something to get fit perhaps.

We have got sportier as we have got older.

We have been doing nude volleyball for years and swimming of course but now both do Jui Jitsu (clothed) where we can have fun throwing each other about and recently added Kayaking .

Never been fitter!.

I often involve another person in my hobbie, In fact I can't do it without another person.

I make lampshades out of human skin.

Also thinking about branching out into hats.

Try Salsa Lessons. It's not a sport, but you would be suprised at how many calaries you use. Also with the added bonus of socializing and also getting closer together

The handicap system would also allow you to compete against each other regardless of relative skill levels.

A more up to date version of a paper chase.

You find caches or clues to their whereabouts using GPS.

We have found local stuff we didn't know existed like where a Wellington Bomber crashed and once reading off dates off a gravestone suddenly realised it was Montys gravestone, had no idea he was buried up the road.

Both of you can't swim or just you?

Why not get swimming lessons together. The sense of achievement you will get will inspire you to carry on. Never to old to learn to swim.
