A simple question?

Now I am posting this just to let people get their anger etc out of their system, have the White Knights limber up their steeds etc.

This is not to debate the rights and wrongs, I can imagine how this is going to pan out, but bear with me.

Of the TWO OPTIONS would you rather:

A. Prefer someone on a single profile declared they were married.

B. Prefer not to know.

This is not a single guy bash session. Guess what, women, TV/TS etc cheat also.

This is a question of informed choice not a moral argument about the rights and wrongs.

And over to you. Remember, the block button is only a click away...

'A. Prefer someone on a single profile declared they were married.'

Then I could make an informed decision about whether or not we met and if we would meet again.

A is the only logical answer.

It allows for an informed choice prior to meeting.

I don't meet married/attached guys and as no one can message me and I do the searching, I'd rather people were honest on their profile so I don't waste my time or theirs.

People will tell you what they want, even if someone doesn't say they're married it doesn't mean they're not

I don't delve too deep but I avoid those who say they're married and those who are very strict about times they can meet

I want unrestricted prolonged fun not quickies where the guy is clock watching

Can't argue with that, better that you know up front then

A..we have no problem with married people as long as they are upfront beforehand as we cannot understand the logic in lying to those you are trying to meet, Let's face it blokes are shit liars and is it worth all the bollocks for a quick dip of the wick

...Up on the Downs

I have been buried alive in a dead marriage, so I try not to judge, but always, always A - I must have honesty, I have a right to choose.

I actually asked the question of someone who approached me recently because there were too many subtle clues in their profile, despite them calling themselves 'a single guy' in the text.

I asked point blank if he was married and he described himself as married but playing single.

Speechless.

Why would anyone choose to be ignorant of such a thing? A lot of people on here don't mind about marital status so why bother lying?

I think emotional attachment from meeting off here could be risqué whether they were married or not, unless of course the possibility was talked about.

As for being honest, as long as I'm told before meeting then I can make a informed choice ~ that goes across the board not just someone's martial status.

A. Like others have said if it's up front people can make an informed choice. There are many reasons people are on here and without knowing their full backstory I won't judge or slate people. However, it's only fair to declare everything up front (if not on profile in a very early message) so people can decide if they're happy to meet or not.

We wouldn't want to meet someone who was dishonest about anything on here, we are honest and would hope for the same.

My profile States that I won't meet attached guys so I don't get too many messages off them. Most married guy profiles are easy to spot but I do not need anyone to "declare" anything to me.

If I choose to break my rule that my choice, if some chooses to cheat on a partner that's their choice....I judge no one
