It does make me laugh when you hear younger people talking the street talk, I remember when the American thing came in and they were calling the Police the "Feds" and prison the "Pen" now it's all "sik" or "you get me"

'You get me' isn't really street talk.

Also the other words you mentioned were in heavy use when I was a teenager so they're not exactly cutting edge street terms.
