shes in a private hospital but yes the treatment seems familiar she didn't commit any crime though

As someone that has worked in similar environments, its quite refreshing to see good staffing levels and procedures in place.

However as it said, they are only allowed to show the ones capable of giving consent.

Its the ones that dont have that capacity that cause the issues

It isn't always about helping the 'patient'. Sometimes it's simply about keeping them, and others safe.

Sounds like it's a very tough place to work if there are 5 attacks on staff a week, on average. I bet it is rewarding too, if that's your chosen field to work in. I have always admired mental health nurses who work in the community.

I worked in mental health field for a few years and it was an eye opener take my hat off to the staff.....I've met a few that have gone through the mental healt criminal justice system and its been an education.

I don't think talking therapy is as readily available as it should be

The regime that hospitals run under prevent it from spontaneously happening which is a shame,because sometimes people want to talk right that minute and 3 hours later if someone is available to listen isn't good enough

they get my daughter to phone me to calm her down if they are busy I must add she has Aspergers too
