Aw that's a shame...my 2 cats are lolling on the sofa not at all bothered by the noise...if they're outside when one goes off, they usually scuttle back in but other than that, it doesn't bother them

Our border collie was stood in the garden watching them. Our previous two border collies had to be booked in to the kennels for the night. I'll be glad when they are finished.

"House rabbit its meandering around the house without a care. Guinea pig is shrieking like a girly tit so he's now in my pocket"

I am ridiculously excited by the idea of a guinea pig hiding in your pocket

Our dogs are okay, bit jumpy but not lots. The cats are more bothered but we have every light in the house on and the television quite loud to distract. The rabbits are fine and our guinea pig seems okay.....I am tempted to pick him up and try to squash him in my pocket but I might leave him be as he is happy

He's a goon tbf...saft as a bottle of pop and cries over anything.

Bigwig the rabbit is hard as nails and currently in the bad books for chasing my grandson round the house with a hand brush this afternoon...making the guinea pig cry. Tbf I could have stopped it but it was the

best entertainment I'd had all day

It's the small things that bring a smile to your face and a rabbit chasing a boy would probably amuse me

I hate fireworks for this reason, liked them as a kid but bored of them now.

If it was only certain days I wouldn't mind but they seem to start half way through October and carry on until tonight

I learnt my mistakes from my previous dogs. When they were startled by fireworks, I hurried to cuddle and reassure them everything was ok. That was my error I was told by the vet, I was telling them it was ok to be frightened.

When I got new puppies, I learned not to react to the noise, not to make any eye contact and act as if nothing was happening. Hey presto, chilled dogs and fireworks

Our dog don't care a toss. Mind you, we do live in a rural village and we have bird scarers going off every 5 minutes during the summer.

On top of that, the fireworks don't make as much noise as our lads when they're both in

Just been outside in my back garden watching the local display with my new wee pup ........ he wasn't too bothered. He's now scooting about like a mad thing playing with a cat toy and making a hell of a racket!

Just got back from a huge display held by a local pub (bloody good work fellas by the way, top notch almost as good as any full scale professional show I've seen!) and some dozy people were taking their dogs out for a walk at the time. Hardly surprising the dogs went crazy, but FFS owners didn't you realise it's November 5th!? Poor things ..

"My dog is not having a good night its gunna be a long one"

Get some big cardboard boxes 4 or 5 put them one inside the others leave one end open if you can get your dog or cats to stay in them the cardboard will absorb the sound and the vibration of fireworks. A bit late this time but it will help at new year and next bonfire night.

One of my cats ran outside a few hours ago and hasn't come back yet. It's hard to imagine him being scared of anything though, he's a pretty tough cookie so hopefully he's sat watching them somewhere

My pup is ok as long as she can see the fireworks. Random explosions get her looking for the noise.
