Help Needed Fast!!!!

No folks, it's not my profile that needs looking at, I'm pretty much sorted and happy with that!!!!

It's ive woke up and the muscles on the left side of my neck is in complete spasm and am in excruciating pain. My head is turned permanently to the right and any movements are giving me shooting pains that feels like cramp in my brain!!!! Its sooooooo painful to move

I really could do with someone to look after me till the diazepam starts kicking in

Take some man up pills!! I've had 3 major ops on my leg in the past year following a motorbike accident, I never needed anyone to look after me, I'm a big girl!! Hope you feel better soon.

joking aside, anything neck/head related worth getting checked out, even if only over the phone - NHS Direct should be able to discern whether it's anything potentially more serious if you give a good enough description. then you'll know whether to head to A&E or just MTFU!

I had this recently - not good!

A week off work and bed rest later and it was on the mend (plus diazepam of course! )

Just rest up. It gets better eventually!

Don't lay down in the bath ! I did this when my neck went and I couldn't get out for about two hours I was freezing lol almost called fire brigade . Eventually managed to turn over and get out

ouch! Had this once after waking up.., as day went on me head stuck on one shoulder! I went straight to an osteopath who put me right in one session.. The relief was instant! Deff worth a go.. Best wishes

If you've already been given medication and some advice, stick to that.

If you can, stay mobile ish, but if it gets worse then try to rest / consult with nhs direct as mentioned above.

And sleep with one pillow, maximum
