Bed, sleep and a back rub from my partner. Hate it if he's ill at the same time as I don't get the same sympathy and fuss!

Stew...a big pot of chicken stew.

Didn't someone start a rumour that ladies who fall ill tend to suffer in silence, while men make a song and dance about it ? Heh. . Just wondering

Same as I do when I'm not ill.

Sadly my 3 year old doesn't slow down unless he's ill.

Although 2 years ago when we both had norovirus at the same time was an interesting experience. Me in the loo throwing up and him hanging off my back coz he was poorly too puking all down me and I couldn't do anything about it!! Worst 6 days of my life!!

Although I've just thought last time I had a really bad cold I made a huuuuuuge chicken stew and dumplings. Half a kilo of chicken, spuds, veg and 6 dumplings. Thought that will do me 2 days. Ate the lot in about 3 hours. Shoved a load of chilli in it as well, that helped sweat it out!! I eat everything in sight when I've got a cold!!

Away with the fairies (Liverpool to you)

I snuggle on the sofa with my blankie wrapped around me, hot water bottle tucked in beside my feet and generally feel very sorry for myself......sometimes I demand foot or hair strokes to make me sleepy. Maybe this couple work for you too? Might be worth a try

Sleep. Then sleep. Then get up, walk to door, turn around and go back to bed to sleep again. Gets rid of any illness.

Heinz tomato soup. A hot bath run for me and clean bedding and pyjamas when I get out. Lucozade in a glass bottle with the cellophane wrapper. A TV in my bedroom.

im told i grouch and moan like most men when poorly but usually goto bed and sleep it off if i can do

if the female has the cold your more than welcome to cuddle up to this hot water bottle as im rather nice and warm

also if your poorly your sent to bed and your staying there as well the drinks will be at side of you to drink and some nice food is brought to you in bed other things will get done while your there

get out of that bed and your so in trouble for it and sent back rather quickly to it
