I have the beginnings of man (lady) flu!

Headache, jelly arms and legs, sneezing and a temperature! ( it's ok I don't need to see a Dr )

What home remedies do you use for man flu?

Woods navy rum. Hot water. Honey. Lemon juice. Sugar. With just the right amount of rum it'll take your mind off it but won't cure. I'll light a candle a pray for your speedy recovery

Liverpool

Cold and flu tablets. Plenty of fluids and sleep. It's going to run the course but the drugs help ease the symptoms x rest up. X

Lots of tlc from Luke, usually find no matter what 'remedies' I take......nothing works really. Rest, painkillers and chocolate required.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

My plus one at Cheeky's party used to swear by sweating it out with a vigorous sex session. Maybe he can help?

If it's man flu I'll pray for you

Don't forget to do plenty of complaining and have everyone fetching and carrying for you

Alcohol can leave you dehydrated and worsen cold symptoms such as congestion. It can also suppress your immune system.

When I was a kid my mother, on the onset of something nasty like flu, would make a super hot curry.

It seemed to work, a bit like cauterization really.

Thank goodness too don't have actual man-flu!

Console yourself with that but night nurse and hot fluids, for when the night nurse has worn off. Also a bell to ring for requests!

Manuka honey always helps . Hot honey and lemon throughout the day. Echinacea helps prevent colds too - you get it in tea even now. At bedtime - hot milk with a dash of brandy - really helps you sleep despite the cold ! I had it last week. Hope you feel better soon.

Man flu is the worst illness known to the human race.

Women only get a mild strain of it.

As a female you will be able to stop in bed and take things easy. Us men on the other hand have to go about our daily chores and carry on as usual despite all the suffering.

Get well soon

Cheeseville, Somerset

Scotch and lemsip, in addition to plenty of water.

Oh - and curry. Very hot curry.

Then just have regular hot baths and wrap up in as many layers as possible to sweat it out.
