Are you more prone to say "I'm sorry" or "thank you"?

I say thank you every day - where appropriate im not exactly humble or willing to engratiate myself but thankyou is important.

Sorry gets said if ive done something wrong in MY opinon. Otherwise I never say it. In fact it's a dictum NEVER apologise if you haven't done wrong. Im not too big to apologise though. There are some stupid arses who are unable to accept apols tho.

Thank you. I believe that the impact of thanking people for their efforts should not be underestimated.

I really dislike environments where you only ever hear feedback if it's a telling off or something negative.

I always remember how I feel when my Manager or Director thanks me for something and I like to think that I pass that feeling onto others when I thank them for something.

Of course, fostering good feeling through simply saying thank you will also encourage the receiver of the compliment to assist you further in the future

As Granny said, I'm not beyond saying sorry if I've done something wrong. I will however stand my ground and fight my corner if I do not believe that I'm mistaken.

ALERT! ALERT! Fork in the thread.

Odd. All these lovely peeps who all say they say "Thank You".

And yet all i get to read and hear is "I'm Sorry".

It doesn't compute.

On balance I'm a sorry sonofabitch!!!

PS Anyone fancy a meet? Sorry, shouldn't have asked.

I'm more likely to say Thank You, I don't do anything wrong to say Sorry.

Oops, Sorry I should say I don't believe I do anything wrong to apologise for.
