Off putting phrases or noises in messages

Does anyone find certain phrases or words in a message immediately off putting?

I get so many messages which consist mainly of "mmmmmm", "hmmmmm" or "ahhhh" None of which translate well in text form and I have this comical image of the sender sat somewhere making a variety of odd noises at their screen as they type.

I can no longer take these messages seriously due to the imagery in my head.

Along with the "awwwwww" messages that often follow a polite decline it's all getting a bit noisey over here. x

Oh and when people use "ha ha" or "lol" instead of full stops. It comes across a little manic.

Having a stranger calling me sister was a little disturbing too.

That would result in a very cross Funky. There are punishments for not applying the lotion.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm is meant to indicate some sort of sexual alluring tone???

For us it indicates this message must be deleted.

With Platinum Membership you can actually send sounds and smells in PM's.

Any text speak in a message is an instant delete. Embrace our great lexicon people!

Oh and the word princess in a profile or username is also extremely offputting to me.

When people put 'Lol' on end of every sentence or phrase.

"I like your profile lol" - what? so much it made you laugh out loud, geez thanks!

I've found in the past that the more a guy talks about what he'd like to do to me, the more hopelessly ineffective he has actually been at doing it!

I hate hee hee's especially from a man! I am guilty of using Awww's and ahhh's and even Grrrr's! My biggest thing which I try and rein in when conversing on the forums, I use mun and like a lot!

Think I used it lastnight when a guy was messaging me on kik constantly and I was trying to watch wentworth prison, I messaged back saying "I'm trying to watch my programme mun!"
