Friends request question

Why do people get so upset when they receive a friends request out of the blue, if its to do with pics just don't send them!

Just to say I haven't done it, but just want to know why people just get so annoyed?

I don't get upset, I just bulk delete at the same time I do my winks.

I get upset at very little that happens on this site.

Think about what motivates people to send out friend requests to people they have had no contact with.

Though personally I wouldn't get upset by it. I just ignore all of them and delete the list from time to time.

We find it is very rude. We only accept friend requests from people who we are talking to so always delete and ignore.

for us its cos we state on our profile that we don't want them! until we have messaged to ensure that everyone is happy with each others boundaries or if we have previously spoken at a club etc

I find it rude......would you randomly drop around to someone's house and look through all their private photo albums? I see my profile and private pics in the same manner.

If you want to add me as a friend then talk to me first and actually become a friend

I dont get upset about it, I leave them there for 30days unexcepted its not a problem, anybody asks in a message I politely say I dont except till met.its not worth getting upset about nobody is special everybody gets random requests here

I had one random friend request before, no contact of any other kind, deleted it, and then they re sent another one a few days later. Like you i just leave them there pending now to avoid them re-sending.

Not really that bothered about random friend requests they just sit in the friend request section of our profile rotting away, who knows come spring time I may be able to use it to mulch the garden

I think some people genuinely think it means it's a 'request to be friends'. Though why they can't send a mail I don't know.

I do like it when you stumble across a guys profile who has a couple of nice public pictures but lots more private, I click send friend request and I'm instantly friends cos they've already sent me one!

Same here. If I want to friend someone on here I will send the request. Doesn't bother me them just sitting there.
