Anyone suffer from thrush? I've got a touch and it's driving me mental here.

Any proven remedies would be gratefully appreciated

Thankyou. I'll suffer until tomorrow and then get to Boots. I used to get it as a teenager and I just hope this isn't a sign of months to come

Don't eat or drink anything with sugar and yeast as ingredients. In other words no crap and no alcohol. Keep your diet clean, just stick to protein and veggies. Cut out fruit and juices as well for the time being. Like mentioned above, plain yoghurt is super. You can also add 3 drops of tea tree essential oil on the tip of a tampon. Interchange throughout the day. This will sort things out nicely. If not go see your gynae. Good luck x

Thankyou so much. I'll try all of these.

If you've had it for a while you should maybe see your gp. I get flare ups but it's only when my diabetes is out of control. He can check your bloods and of course can supply you with a bigger tube of cream.

Central

as well as the yoghurt and packaged cream and tablet - sold at Tesco etc, so you could possibly get tonight, as pharmacists open till 8 at ours or at 24/7 pharmacy. Also consider your clothing, towels etc. Wear natural fabrics and do washes that kill germs, which should include fungus. Frequent changes are good too. Synthetics will increase fungus friendly conditions. Partners can infect you too.

If ever I have any skin problem I ensure I'm using skin kind body products, to lessen irritation.

These fungi are all over each of us, as well as getting inside. Reducing opportunities for them to colonize is good, as it's an easy way to reinfect again from close quarters.
