Aliens and Space...

I was talking to my friend about science based stuff.nthen thought... Wouldn't it be kinda funny if in some sci-fi movies with aliens and other galaxies... That What they are showing us in these movies, are actually real and they are using "studio" to cover it up.

Like they might show us a real alien but put many fake copies of the real one to disguise it. And the actors have to sign a deal that if they even blab once to anyone, them and their families will face something really bad.

I'm not saying its real... But let's imagine the possibility for a second.

Lol same here. Imagination and creativity got humans to where we are today so why mock it.

I'm sure I'm not the first person with random thoughts.

Nope, the matrix has some pretty random thoughts and got people thinking.

And who's to say the "universe" ins't just the inside of another organism...?

It's all possible!

Alice in Wonderland was pretty random. Apparently it's drug related. Probs why the movie didnt make one bit of sense but still great

You never know, you could be right. There has been some speculation that the "grey" ET alien does actually exist and that we're being "desensitized" gradually by TV and films so that it won't be such a cultural shock when contact is announced.

It has to be said that there is some good evidence for aliens existing. Look at all the eye witnesses that go public let alone the people who never mention a thing. A lot of these people are very credible witnesses and have no history of mental illness or telling tall tails. And on your point, there are examples of films and TV shows where something happens and years later very similar events happening in real life

That was mentioned in 'Paul' a good film with plenty of ELO in it.

I don't do faith, i,e., believe in a god, so why should I accept someone other things that are so so removed from reality?

Since the nearest star is 4 light years away and would take the aliens several thousand years to travel here, if they came from there, why would they come all this way and not say hello? Unless they are members of the federation and don't want to break the "prime directive".

I think you have to be pretty stupid to believe in a universe as vast as ours that we are the only life form.

There has been many reports of retired military men admitting contact with extra terrestrial life. The problem is if we did make contact with an extra terrestrial and they tell us there is no such a thing as god, and we are the result of some sort of breeding programme. Then the whole matrix that is reality of this world crumbles, no wars over religion, we realise that we were stupid for fighting over something that never existed.

Do you class an extra terrestrial life as an amoeba.

If you honestly believe that in a universe as wide as ours there isn't further intelligent life that is perhaps more advanced than us, then you do not understand just how large the universe is. You may laugh at the breeding comment, but you have no evidence to disprove that theory as you weren't around at the point of our creation, instead you're just trying to be a smug asshole and tar everyone with an alternative view as a tin foil hat wearer or idiotic. In reality the only idiotic person is you with your narrow mind.

Did'nt the pope make a speech sometime in the last couple of years saying that religion should allow for the existence of aliens and E.T's? And Ronald Regan mentioned aliens once in the U.N. many years ago.

I'm open to the idea we could be being desensitized for the existence of aliens to be announced in years to come?

If you are into this conspiracy theory stuff a good watch is the "Ancient Aliens" documentary series.

Arse End of the Universe, Cumbria

There's umpty-ump bazillion planets similar to ours (Prof Brian Cox said so, so it's gotta be right) and the chances of life arising on any one of them are about a gazillion to one according to The Oracle ( that's Prof Brian Cox btw) so I reckon it's quite likely they're out there....I reckon they're waiting for us to show signs of civilisation before they pop down at the speed of something faster than light to spread peace and prosperity....in the meantime, I'm not averse to an anal probe

Oh, and apparently, the chances of anything coming from Mars, are a million to one, they said...

If the proof of extra-terrestrial life came along, there would be an instant crisis in the major religions. People would realise that they have been lied to and controlled for centuries. Some religions would, of course make up some story to cover these lies in an attempt to maintain control. However, if 'aliens' turned up in person, there would be new gods to worship, new religions would be established, and the control would just pass into new hands.
