I went to an inner city school where white people were the minority so i've always dated black boys since I was a teenager.

But in my older years i've experimented with white men too, and I have to admit that for me they're lacking.

Nobody has ever appealed to me because of his skin colour. If I find someone attractive it's not due to skin colour.

What I find funny are those women who say "caribbean men only" lool like you can even spot the difference.

So what is the currently preferred terminology? I wasn't at the last meeting. Is it "person of colour", and "male" or "female" person of colour - if it's a mixed group of male and female is it "male and female persons of colour" or is it "black" and what if there's more than one, is "blacks" acceptable? Or is it "black persons of colour of unspecified gender"?

I just want to be trendy and get the right terminology.

I just could not be arsed to read all the comments. I do take issue with the OP though......who said people find black men so attractive? The myth of BBC maybe? I'm sure most have said on this thread that colour is immaterial, attitude however, is not. The attitude of a lot of black men that message me is that I should be grateful they are waggling their BBC in my face. Yes, indeed I did have a 'funny turn' on here not so long ago, the post wasn't titled as you've remembered, it wasn't really that acidic, but, it was wrong of me to post it and I learned from my mistake.

I was utterly overwhelmed by the response to my subsequent retraction and apology, totally unexpected.

I shall end this potential bomb by just saying, there is not a 'racist' (a MUCH overused term) atom in my being....I see people, NOTHING else....

The only differentiation I apply to humanity is good and bad.
