Anything to do with Christmas whilst still in October, gets right up my shitter. November is bad enough, December is understandable and acceptable

I rarely watch any telly on Christmas Day at all, if I do it'll be late. But I'll record the Doctor and watch later

Im under the same pressure but x1, thats got a lot to do with my 'love' of it. Most worrying time of the year for me, cost me £4000 in wages to pay out with no work coming in due to shutdown and couple of hundred in presents and extra food etc

I know it's financially stressfull for a lot of parents - but it's your 'x1' who matters most at this time - and we all try to make it as wonderful for them as we can. Christmases were awful when i was a kid - so i try to make them as magical as i can for mine! That magic rarely involves watching bloody depressing soaps together - it usually involves giggles and silly board games!!

Pretty sure xmas happens every year... some time in December. Why not save over the 12 months then it's not a surprise?
