On the back of the German and Italian threads, what's your fav country?

I adore France and would move there in a heartbeat if I had the funds. Beautiful country, wonderful food and I love the people. I lived in Paris for a year and it was one of the best times of my life.

USA comes a close second. Amazing scenery and Americans are lovely people in their own country

On a good weather day there's nowhere better than good old Blighty but if we're talking overseas there's only one choice for me : Australia.

Been there numerous times to different places, always found the locals genuinely warm and welcoming - and always good banter with us Poms.

Such a beautiful and diverse country too!

My favourite country is the classic sort of stuff by the likes of Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard, but I like bluegrass too.

I'm very fond of Denmark. I've also loved my times in France, Spain and Fuerteventura. But there are a couple I'd have to visit to be able to decide on my favourite, namely Canada and NZ.

That said I love England and it would take something special to make me leave
