Queuing is one thing that we seem to do really well ! Drives me mad at times, but we don't tend to try to jump queues.

Roast dinners with Yorkshire pudding.

Our regional accents.

There must be lots more, hopefully positive things.

Brits are like sheep when it comes to queuing.......fools.

You should hear the tuts I get when I see people queuing for cash points and none of them spot the free one and I dive right on in.

Oh definitely tea, not that Earl Grey stuff either , proper tea. You're right - in a crisis - tea and sympathy is always the order of the day.

Red telephone boxes and post boxes. I know a lot of the red telephone boxes have gone, but you still see the odd one that has been saved or someone has in their garden.

Admiral Lord West told an anecdote about the attack on HMS Ardent that resulted in her sinking during the Falklands War. While all hell was breaking loose as they tried to get things under control, he was approached by a wardroom steward carrying a tray with a silver teapot, cups and saucers etc. When he exclaimed not unreasonably "what the f*ck are you doing?", he receive a calm reply of "it's tea time sir".

Cadburys is definitely a fine Brit brand, although now sold on.

There's a certain aloofness that abounds still, as well as willingness to ignore petty trivia.

Our humour is fantastic.

Television is great.

Our NHS is wonderful.
