Somewhere in North Norfolk

Today is the 28th consecutive day of not biting my nails. They're still not past the end of my nail beds and don't seem to be growing at all.

I'm tempted to chew them out of sheer frustration and because I'm not used to them, they're at an annoying length and are irritating me.

It gets better, right? It's worth sticking with it?

(They're nowhere near long enough to paint yet)

Just think of all the pretty things you can do to them when they are long enough.

Hubby moans I don't scratch enough and that's what I'm worried about. Having to scrape chunks of flesh from under my nails doesn't appeal as much as cuddle

I was a serious nail biter for years

Stopped about 5 years ago

I always wear polish to discharge biting I hate seeing chipped nails.

Treat yourself to a pale pink colour even on short nails

Recommend using Sally Hansen strengther is nails are soft.

I have false nails I don't have that problem but I used to bite my nails something terrible. I know Sally Hansen has a nail polish that tastes disgusting to stop people biting their nails

I have several hundred nail varnishes - my toes are nearly always painted.

I'm using OPI Nail Envy on them as a strengthener at the moment. It's too soon to tell how strong, or not, they are and if it's helping though.

I've pretty much broken the habit now. I'm only tempted to bite them because they are at an annoying length and I'm not used to them.

I'm hoping it will be better when they are 'proper' nails rather than inbetweenys.
