I once had a boiled potato and that was fantastic (you had to be there to understand) least to say that in a 50 mile radius none of the approximate 15000 people around me had one

A simple pleasure for me is finding a message in my read file on fab... I get excited then...

Well it one pleasure for a single chap... lol

Um seriously... I love fresh pitching snow on a dark winters evening... Snuggle up bed all toasty and wake to find a crisp pure blanket covering everything outside... And I like to keep it untouched too.. So won't leap aboutbin it or clear it unless I have to... And if I do go out I'll step in the same foot prints to keep it looking it's best for as long as possible... I love snow and sharp frost... They're beautiful...

I must agree about the fresh falls of snow, but instead of leaving it untouched I have an intense urge to make as many foot prints as I can in it. Andy spent a lot of last winter keeping me from walking on people's gardens, the rotten spoilsport.

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

The smell of bacon cooking.

The look of happy surprise on a child's face.

Floating on your back in a swimming pool.

Listening to good music.

* The sound of thunder and the flash of lightening. I always count the seconds between the roll and the flash to see how far away the storm is to see if it's getting closer or further away.

* I used to love walking home from school sniffing fences that had been newly creosoted.

* seeing my 16m old son's excited face at simple things he's just finding out when they have oh so long ago lost their fascination. It's very rejuvenating.

* hearing church bells on a sleepy, sunny Sunday morning while I'm reading my papers at the garden table with a nice long coffee and a cigarette or two.

Walk on vigin snow, me being a big kid.

And something I used to do with my kids and hope to do with my grandkids, crabbing from the pier at swanage, trying to catch the spider crabs.

Puddle slashing, and a water fight.

near kings lynn

My bed after a night out of sex with a friend/s. Snuggling into my bed alone.

Then last night after an evening of sex the lovely man stayed for the night and it felt amazing to cuddle up togther.

My other favourite non swinging is camping with the kids in the tent and the sound of my kids snoring softly after all the fresh air and snuggling into the sleeping bag

Walking in the wide open spaces of the countryside, stopping every so often and listening, hearing only natural sounds.

And having a lady walking beside me is an added bonus!
