So I'm sat at the hospital waiting to see the surgeon and he's just walked past with his entourage. And I've seen gangbangs with fewer people!

Obviously he's got all the baby docs in tow today. How do people feel about it when you go to discuss something personal and discover theres going to be an audience?

Btw it doesn't phase me, I quite enjoy testing/scaring them!

They're bound by confidentiality too, so I don't mind, they have to learn somewhere, so why not with me a little, I consider it my way of helping, lol

Somewhere in North Norfolk

I've had my foof waxed in front of groups of beauty therapists who were being trained.

A group of trainee doctors or nurses doesn't bother me in the slightest.

They need experience to become competent and I'd prefer they become competent.

Also if it makes you uncomfortable you can ask them not to be there.

My mother is 80 and would be horribly embarrassed to have an intimate exam in front of lots of young people, men especially but she would happily allow whole gangs in for anything else.

Titz Towers, North Notts

On the rare occasion I've been to see a Dr or in Casualty with someone, I'm normally that grateful to see someone I wouldn't object to them having the baby eating bishop of Bath and Wells in tow.

Also I'd see the entourage as a potential audience and would just be busy trying to work up a cross talk double act with the head honcho.

I'd like an entourage, myself.

Every time I go to the docs they seem to have a student there. It doesn't bother me. Although my skin cancer surgeon has a habit of talking to the student like I'm not there which is weird.

And the nurse who did my last smear with no lube... I'd rather have lube than a student if I'm honest.

I've no idea but she did it not once but twice after going to get a different speculum!

I'll be requesting a different nurse next time! Preferably a bloke!

When I had my first child I was asked if trainees could attend at the birth. I signed the form. 8 people were at the birth of my first child and I didn't have any family or my husband in with me

That's AWFUL! I think you do right to request a different nurse. Our surgery has its faults but they are always meticulous about making sure procedures like that are comfortable and as pleasant as possible.
