Can't login to messenger at all... been like it for days... have followed the resets... proxy servers... firewall settings... restoring registery stuff

I've followed the lot... it pissing me off now... grrr!

i had that, had to email them and they sent me instructions on how to delete the contacts cache folder or something (you dont lose your contacts thankfuly

)

if its important for you to talk to msn buddies , then you should add those buddies on to yahoo , paltalk , and a number of other sites that are compatible

its well know for msn to go tits up on a regular basis

Few years ago i lost msn for about 6months for love or money would it work even after a full system restore kept says there was a componant missing. Oneday i downloaded firefox and for some unknown reason its worked ever since

We uploaded the beta version recently and its the worst yet we prefer to use yahoo of google talk

I've no problem with mine either...

Two things:

1. Periodically change your password (I find in situations like this it helps)

2. Download an older version say 6.1

Thanks for the advice so of you have kindly sent me... So you sexy peeps know how you are... I'll try some of those later when I get to my silly laptop! It's might be put on a death sentence soon... Bloody PC's!!! Grrr!!!

It spends more time downloading fucking windows updates and bloody service packs... than I do surfing the net... well I realise now why my connection is steam driven... It's having an affair with Microsoft... The tarty lump of circuit boards, battery and stupid hard drive!! What do I care... It liked me in the past... But doesn't these days...

I might have to go back to Apple... Never had issues with Apple kit... You gets what you pay for I guess?

So thank fuck for my iPhone... My trusty pocket size friend... Can always get here with that...(like now)

But mind you 3G is a pointless element... does anybody find that it's slower than Edge or GPRS? 3G freezes or downloads really slow and I almost wander about to lose it and as soon as I'm back on E (edge) it downloads in no time...

yes!!! this...... happened to me for a while, if you google messenger login problems you should find it..... with instructions......
